Weekly Update – Hello 2018!

Jan 11, 2018 | Life in Progress

I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last week, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me!

Saturday, December 23

Current scene. Chilling out on our couch with my people & dogs. Sending out many wishes for a peaceful next few days. Xxo

Sunday, December 24

A rare White Christmas is happening over here in Portland. If you look closely, you’ll see True sledding down our steps. Love. Also, I have literally done nothing for two days except the following: read, sleep, watch movies, eat, hot tub, snuggle, and resist all urges to do anything but BE. I am grateful to the max. Sending love from ours to yours.

Tuesday, December 26

Our cute little backyard all snowed over. The birds have been quite active and the dogs are LOVING it. How are y’all doing out there? I am gonna be honest and say that I’m ready for the end of Christmas and the beginning of New Years, my favorite holiday and time of year. Bring out the new year intentions, dreams, ideas, word of the year, projects, and more. Hello new beginnings! Whose with me?

Friday, December 29

Soul care in my tiny art house. Are you guys feeling the high vibe flow of New Years? I am LIT UP with energy, ideas, plans to follow my heart. Big changes are a coming to my world and I’m energized by the True of it. What is lighting you up right now? Let’s fill the comments with some good loving energy. Yes?

Wednesday, January 3

Seriously. I cannot be more in love with two dogs.

Thursday, January 4

Hello world. I weigh 27 pounds and am 4 mos old now. I am pretty darn chill. Love people. Love snuggles. Love my big sis mama Lulu. I DO NOT like the rain, which means I poop on my human’s brand new gorgeous covered back deck. What can I say. Would YOU like cold rain dropping on you while you did your biz? Didn’t think so. Also, aren’t I the cutest most handsome lady you ever did see? I think my mustache makes me seem more, I dunno, glam?

Friday, January 5

My mom just celebrated 69! How cute is she? Go mom go. Here’s to another healthy and radiate year.

I am 100% obsessed with this book. It’s been a long time since a book has truly changed my life, and this book definitely has done just that. I am grateful for the ways my wellness journey keeps unfolding, guiding toward information and places and people that I wouldn’t normally SEE.

I’ve been doing many of the things recommended in this book, including the astonishingly simple mediations and getting certain foods in my diet that help with inflammation, toxin/virus releases, and more. It’s been b.l.o.w.i.n.g. my mind and heart wide open.

Saturday, January 6

This is seven. It’s wild and gentle. Sweet and mischievous. Curious and confident. And giggly and silly and hilarious. I Love Love Love being one of his guides even when it’s hard and challenging (hello, parenting!). In the last couple of weeks he’s told me I’m his best girl and his favorite teacher. Major charmer, this kid. Love him madly.

Sunday, January 7

Been playing a lot lately in my studio, mixing it up, and realizing MANY things about how painting and creativity have brightly illuminated my path these last 10 Years, literally creating a dream life that I didn’t know was possible. AND now I’m 42 and feeling the creative calls in other directions. But painting and creativity will always always always be my companions along ALL the paths. Wellness. Spiritual. All. Of. It. Here’s to growth and edges and new open doors and faith. Lots and lots of faith.

Soul chills. Just googled and watched the speech and like everyone else, I am Moved and Motivated. Thank you, Oprah. Thank you.

Monday, January 8

Post work out, currently at a coffee shop with Nichole working away on all things KRR with the best avocado/ricotta toast eva!

Tuesday, January 9

Honestly. Total lovefest over here with these two. Happy Tuesday friends!

Sending much love,
