I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last week, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me!

If there’s one person who absolutely inspires me to be brave with my life it’s Beth Kempton. We’ve been in one another’s lives for many years now and she makes me want to be better as a artist, and human being. She’s also the one who invited me to the transformative speaking intensive a couple of months ago and because of her and her inspiration I said yes to participating as a speaker at an upcoming NYC event! I’m already nervous but also feeling really good about it. She will be one of the speakers too! Details soon, but I know it will be Sat, Oct 22. Stay tuned and here’s to others bravery inspiring our own.
Today is moving slowly for me. I like slow. I’m diving into computer work, and possibly artwork. Lately I’ve been obsessed with making art, reading, listening to podcasts (On Being is my current fave) and really trying to make my weight watcher journey stick. It’s been a slow start but I’m sticking to it. Here’s to a day of ease and also celebration of Pixie Lighthorse whose birthday is today. I adore her in a million and one ways. Xxo

A lovely Saturday evening painting while watching Brene Brown and Glennon Doyle Melton. Loving their class!
Progress. Heading to bed but can’t wait to finish this one tomorrow. Experimenting with acrylic markers and guache.

It’s happening. My favorite beginning is unfolding here in Portland. I can feel the season changing in my inner life, too. The quieting, the ease of retuning to the souls work, the real harvest, no? Last night I made art in front of the fireplace and today I’m prepping food while listening to Elizabeth Gilbert’s podcast. The boys went camping this weekend. They come home today and I’m all filled up and ready for their return. Ahhh, a really good weekend alone.

Made some art today. This is a piece of a larger canvas. Words inspired, of course, by Mr Cohen. Xxo
Thanks, friends!
