I need your heart for a quick sec

Oct 19, 2017 | Entrepreneurship, Life in Progress

QUESTION for you lovely people. I would be so grateful if you took a minute to answer (like, over-the-moon grateful). I have been thinking of what I’d like to bring to life in 2018. Hello visioning and planning! I feel a strong urge to go deeper with you, to create offerings that are aligned with raising our vibration, creating joy and beauty in the everydayness of our lives, and living lives of hope, courage, and creativity.

With that in mind, may I ask you a question? All answers welcome. Let’s imagine we’re having tea together, cozy on the couch. Let’s imagine I asked you with the utmost interest and sincerity, “Is there something you want to learn from/with me?” If so, what is it? Is it painting a certain thing? Is it embodiment of a certain thing? Is it spiritual? Creative? Self care/wellness? Parenting? Home decor? Fashion? Business? Is there something that you’re wishing for? And, to take it further, HOW do want that loveliness delivered? Do you want a live in-person retreat? Do you want a book to read? A class to take? A live webinar? A personal connection/session/mentorship?

Again, I’d be MASSIVELY grateful for your answers. Feel free to answer right here in the comments. Or if you prefer, email me at hello@kellyraeroberts.com.
.
Big love,
Kelly Rae

Sending much love,

2018 for me is community, how to begin, how to maintain
how to risk and be safe, best Ways to share and maybe carry each other’s burden
    how to celebrate our victories.

How lovely to get this question after meeting you in person a little over a year ago at “I am courage”…. That was such a powerful event and still haunts me… The vulnerability everyone shared was so powerful. That being said, I would love to attend an in-person painting workshop. I am on the east coast so I know that is probably a long shot! I love reading through your older blog posts about your daily life and beginnings of your art career… So another book would be awesome! Thank you for sharing everything you do already! ox Mary Ann

Such a beautifully worded question. I recently met and connect with Beth after being in her community for many years, at her book workshop and I would love to connect with you in a similar way. Something like a Hello Soul/Hello Business retreat here in the UK? 😀 Apart from that I’m just happy to be part of HSHB every month and follow your blog. With much love and gratitude for all you share, Diane x

I would love the opportunity to learn about your continuous healing. You talked through the big steps, the moments of extensive transformation that resulted in your conversion professionally, spiritually and emotionally at Brave Girls. How do you continue to heal, expand and evolve? So much of your work speaks to self-discovery and self actualization. What have you found over the last 10 years to be the formula for overcoming hick ups, pushing through fear, negotiating your self-doubts to rise above and continue to stand in the sun? You are one of mine timeless heroes. Your work has changed my life over the last seven years and I am surrounded by your quotes and phrases and paintings at home and in my office. I am so grateful for the words that spoke to my heart and continue to push me forward in my darkest days. You are a healer, and encourager, a believer and the creator of a community of possibilitarians. Thank you for your light & your love.

Thank you for asking. I’d love blog advice. Picking a platform…the beginning mechanics. Thank you also for your cheerful attitude. (Have one of your face art pieces.)

This is such a great question at a great time for me!! I have been following your journey since I bought your first book a year ago. I have enjoyed every minute of the podcasts I have listened too. I have felt connected to you over the miles and through your words. I am taking a year sabbatical from the production end of my business to concentrate on a lifestyle change that for me will be a difficult journey. Spiritual, self-care/wellness and creativity are the areas I plan to focus on during this time. I enter this path with some trepidation. As I verbalize this goal out loud…will I be able to do this or will a year from now the same old me show up with no changes visible to me or others. It’s the same dilemma…change or status quo? Fear or safety? Success or shame? Procrastination or charging forward? So…I am looking for an infusion of ideas and support in those areas I plan to focus on.

As far as delivery…all the ideas sound great to me. Would love an in person retreat! Workshops or classes sound good. Since I am just beginning to art journal, I would love to see some mixed media classes. And personal or group mentoring is a great idea too.

So, I am looking forward to what your decisions will be on content, focus and delivery of the next level of exploration that you plan to offer.

First, thanks for opening yourself up to us! Love your art inspiration, life inspiration, health inspiration, just all of it!!! I would love an online class with life inspiration…wellness, physical fitness, meditation, devotion… Love the Unscripted videos already. Would be interested in anything artistic, too. An in person retreat would be lovely but probably too costly for me. If cost were no problem, my first wish would be an in person retreat with you!!!

I have for years looked to you for light and love on your website. You are such an inspiration to live a life that brings joy to myself and those around me. I loved watching you remodel and change out rooms in your house and the art shed. I’ve loved watching your art change and grow (the first book is great, I wouldn’t mind another). I’m not a parent so the parenting stuff isn’t as important to me, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the posts about True and watching him grow up. I live an hour from Portland, so I would love it if you offered classes or workshops. I would love to hear you speak about your process. How do you stay creative? What are your inspirations? What is your process to keep up with daily life (grocery shopping, laundry, housework, meals, etc.) and having time to work? It would help me as someone who would like to leave a corporate job and pursue a more creative, entrepreneurial life to hear how you maintain that and the things that have helped you have success.

I am so happy you asked this question! For me, I have been in awe of how you share your spiritual journey. It is something that I find is in every aspect of my life, but so hard to put into words. Family, friends, pets, art, our jobs, and even our bodies are vessels for deep understanding of our life’s purpose. Please don’t stop sharing the tough stuff! I am talking about being mindful, about letting go and forgiving others and ourselves for being imperfect. I would love to see messages (thoughts) from you posted for the week, sent via email? A mantra for the week for positive living etc.. But you do that already in so many ways! We all need reminders to take care of ourselves, especially women because we are such caretakers of others. Just a few thoughts…Thank you for being you!

What an incredibly lovely question! You give so much that the only thing that comes to mind with that cup of tea is some cookies and laughs!

Would be SO fun if you wanted to do a retreat up on Whidbey Island (I’ve got a great spot!)…
