Last week, I was teaching my Spirit Wings course at the lovely 1440 Multiversity. My students traveled to the depths of their hearts with journaling and called their wisest selves forward.
They also met one another for the first time, made connections and new friends as adults – not always easy to do. They also trusted their choices on the canvas and practiced letting go of preciousness. Getting messy and letting go on the canvas (and life) can be a giant challenge.
I took several moments just honor their courage to show up here, raw and ready and with willing and open hearts.
We took long stretches between our painting sessions to rest and be fed by food and nature and sounds. Hello nourishment.
These students were incredible. They super SHOWED UP. And their showing up made for a transformative week of getting FREE, letting go, trusting the process, making it meaningful, following our delight, allowing release, receiving, being brave, vulnerable, and creating sacred community.
I was blown away by their collaborative spirit, not just one another but with their guides and angels. There was wisdom, deep joy, remembrance of self, and an honoring. Grateful to gather and circle up and paint and expand and use our voices.
