i’ve been doing some serious daydreaming lately about quiting my day job and doing art all day long. i do believe that dreams are real, so perhaps one day. but for now i’m happy doing social work and squeezing in the art when i can, though it would be nice to have a studio space to put all my supplies. as you can see, our dining room is no longer a place to eat!

john has been doing bikram yoga with me, and now he’s addicted. it’s all he’s talking about, too. it’s hilarious. and surprisingly, he’s quite flexible. pretty soon, he’ll be more flexible than i am.

we heard from the school in pasedena, california. they said no. john was crushed for about 20 minutes then moved on to high hopes for the school in oakland. he flies out for that interview next week. this is such a rollercoaster ride.

Sending much love,

You don’t want to live in Pasadena anyway. I can totally empathize with what you are going through waiting for schools to determine your future. The right place will come through at the right time.
