a life becoming joyous

May 16, 2006 | Life in Progress

when i think back on this past year, i’ve grown more into myself, more appreciative, more purposeful. i now know the direction i want my life to go, and that just brings with it so much peace.

in other news, john had a bad mountain biking tumble. luckily, he was with Nick, our friend who happens to be an ER doctor. a trip to ER and xrays confirmed he separated his shoulder. he’ll be in a sling for a bit and no surfing, biking, lifting, and all things fun and outdoorsy for awhile. poor guy. it could have been much worse. thank goodness it’s fairly minor considering he could have broken bones, neck, back, etc. Oh,the adventures of having a husband who loves to play hard!

Sending much love,

eek – Jim told me John was in a sling but I didn’t realize it was that serious. Hope he’s feeling okay! And I love the painting! She’s beautiful, and I love the words. Better and better all the time!
