my kind of quilting circle

One of the things I most love to do with my friends is get crafty. I love, love, love spreading out a blanket, dumping out the paints, papers, glue and anything else we can find and then just go for it. Music is on. Conversation is flowing like it would around a quilting circle. Hands are messy, sillyness abounds, art is created, and friendships are deepened.

I did just that a couple of weeks ago – met up with some of my closest friends and made stuff all weekend long. Heaven. Reminds me of grade school when we had arts + crafts time with our classmates every single week, a time when we couldn’t have possibly imagined that it would all soon vanish with age – no more circling around the big tables with your friends to make stuff to bring home to our parents.

Yes, yes. Our work is to show up at that craft table. Or that writing space. Or that hard conversation. We don’t have to have a plan or a strategy or even the knowledge of how it all works. We just have listen to that thing that calls us and simply, bravely, show up.

The e-course started yesterday and it’s off to a booming start! I’m completely LOVING this year’s group of students. They’re fluttering about with enormous amounts of inspiration and sense of community – something we really need in order to be successful in our dreams.  It’s not to late to join us for a life changing, business growing, joy jumping experience!  This will be the ONLY time I offer this popular ecourse this year...see you there!

Sending much love,
