abundance

Oct 11, 2007 | Life in Progress

no worries. i am in love with this sweet creation that my sister made. i bought it from her early last week and it was here waiting for me when i returned home from my portland adventures. what a joy it was to open that box! i am in love with just about everything she makes. there is a specialness, a unique whimsy to her pieces.

i have been in a total stupor since arriving home from portland: work. tired. catching up on emails. mail. bills. cleaning. art business. late nites, early mornings, more bad dreams. today, i came home and passed out on the couch for a three hour nap with my dog, a rarity for me. i was worried i might feel a bit blue about coming back to oakland, but i haven’t had time to process. i arrived home to my man, and our dog. i love my little family. home is where they are.

tonite as i write this, i am feeling thankful for all the abundance of the last several weeks. of dreams unfolding. aha moments. hugs from friends. portland’s autumn. oakland’s sunshine. john’s arms around me. nice emails and letters from women who are just like me and who see and feel connection through words and art. i am in awe of all of this and so, so much more.

photos coming soon of art&soul class projects and of some art i bought on vendor nite…such fun.

Sending much love,

i love your sister’s work. i have one that i keep drooling over. i am heading over to etsy to look again. i wonder if it is still there? so pretty and delicate, nothing like my usual finds, but i love them!

i think it is fall, the seasons are changing again. i think our souls go through the process with each changing season!

i can’t wait till the day when delilahblue settles out of her puppyhood and will snuggle with me

    thinking of you chickadee…..

I totally get the tiredness, Kelly Rae! I’ve been going through that myself. Love the piece your sister made and it was a joy to see you and Liz on vendor night! Next time we’ll have to spend a bit more time together… Hugs, Shari
