hanging angels have been a precious and blessed part of the KRR

Four days left till it all begins, ya’ll!!! We’re gonna put our inner
6-7-8 year old selves into the driver’s seat – that part of ourselves
that is brilliant at accessing deep curiosity and creativity – and let
her/him UNLEASH their JOY on our canvases. It’s going to be pure magic
and so much fun. Come play with us, friends!
For those of you
with kids – any age from 2yrs old to teenagers – I can’t tell you how
much your kids will love this style of painting. It’s all about embracing
the mess, imperfect mark-making, and having fun with art supplies
inside a process where there are truly no mistakes. I would absolutely
encourage you to do this course with them. My son has been painting with
me since he was about 20mos old and not only does he love it, but it’s
become something that we can do together. For those of you with older
kids, this process can be a great way into deeper conversations with
them about the bigger metaphors and life lessons that emerge when we are
painting (trusting the process, embracing the uncertainties,
discovering our voices, etc etc – all things we’ll dive into in class).
