Moving/transition update: Friends! Permits came through and voila: our new home in Sisters, Oregon is no longer a dream on paper. It’s actually starting. We are crazy excited. Smaller than our last home (hello, downsizing and simplifying > feels really good for us), and a totally different feel. I’ve always lived in historic, older vibe homes. This one will be decidedly new, in a newer neighborhood even. We’re going for a sweet, modern, colorful farmhouse vibe with tons of character and charm to make the newness of it feel lived in and cozy. I’m excited to mix shiplap with color with interesting lighting. But mostly, I’m excited for a fresh start in a quaint tiny town with tons of sunshine and access to the outdoors.

While this home is being built (a few months), we are all nestled up at my parent’s house here in Portland. My mom’s dream of living in a commune has come true! We are so thankful and truly enjoying the benefits of generational living. Once we move, they’ll move with us to their own little cottage in Sisters. We are SO grateful.

So much transition over here. House stuff. Business stuff. I am taking really good care of myself while navigating the rivers of change. Lots of permissions. Lots of allowances. Lots of alone time. And eons of dreaming.
