My first fabric collection is here!!!!!

Jan 26, 2021 | Inspiring Products

My first fabric collection is here!

I so enjoyed working with Benartex to bring this collection together.

It’s happy, colorful, layered, textured, and bright. Hello, joy!

I made a video allllll about it. Check it out below!

Where to purchase!

For those of you interested in purchasing any of the fabric, you can find it over at The Stitchin’ Post, my local quilt shoppe here in Sisters, OR. I LOVE their shoppe and am feeling so super honored to have this collection in their store and on their website for purchase.

You can also purchase strip rolls and pre-cut squares of it, too. LOVE!!!!! You can find those, as well as all the fabric right over here at The Stitchin’ Post website.

UPDATE:

Many of the fabrics have sold out over at The Stitchin’ Post. They’ve ordered more, but it looks like it won’t be until April until they arrive (you can still order, but it might be backordered).

The good news? I did a quick google search and it looks like all of the fabrics are available on Amazon and  Ebay as well as several online fabric stores:

  1. Over The Rainbow fabrics: https://www.overtherainbowfabrics.com/shop/Fabric/Benartex/Soulshine–Daydreams-by-Kelly-Rae-Roberts.htm
  2. EE Schenck Co: https://eeschenck.com/fabric/soulshine-daydreams.html
  3. eQuliter: https://www.equilter.com/search?p_filter_keyword=soul+shine&p_search_type=all&p_func=live

I hope that helps!

Hot tip: If you are searching the internet for the fabric, be sure to either search “Kelly Rae Roberts fabric” or more specifically “Soulshine & Daydreams fabric”.

XO! And huge thanks for your enthusiasm!

Sending much love,

I LOVE your beautiful fabric! I just finished the Be the Light quilt. I called it a memory quilt & gave it to my son. It reminded me of ME, with things I love—-angels, birds. Thank you for your awesome talent! I plan to make more!

I have five of your painted print block pictures. I just love them I thought they were so unique when I saw them. I have them hanging in my bed room/ quilting room. I was looking for some fabric for a curtain and I ran across your fabrics. I was delighted thank for sharing your talents with us!

Hi Kelly Rae, I discovered you on Pinterest. I love art and lately have been remaking tops into tunics. I love your fabrics and wondered it you have ever considered getting them printed onto cotton knits? For leggings, scarves, tops and tunics, they would make such a happy colorful outfit! Some solids and lightly printed fabrics too! Polka dots and stripes, florals and leaves! Love it all!
    I live in Calgary.
    Love your style!

is there a charm pack option in the soulshine fabric line?

I believe they have sold out over at Stitchin Post but I just did a Google search for “Soulshine charm pack Kelly Rae Roberts fabric” and a couple of things popped up on Etsy for fat quarters. Not sure if that is entirely helpful but thought I’d share.

Hi there, your fabric Soulshine is absolutely “everything”. I was in Sisters, OR in May where I saw it for the first time. My son bought me my birthday present, part of which was a 5″ precuts pack. They were out of many of the fabrics. When I got home I heard that my first great niece was coming in September. Got busy on Etsy and Amazon and found some of the other fabrics in the line. Cannot wait to finish this baby quilt!! I love this line of fabrics! You are so extraordinarily talented! BTW The theme for this baby’s room is hearts. So perfect. Will have to share this story with her.

I was just in Sisters and fell in love with your Soul Shine and Daydreams line ♥️♥️♥️. One of my friends is about to become a grandma for the first time…her son and daughter in law are expecting a girl, but they are not ‘pink’ people. They are decorating with butterflies. I had been searching for the perfect fabric and here it was. On top of you having colorways that don’t have to use a lot of pink, daddy is of Greek heritage and mama is a Latina …. Baby Isabella will have beautiful ladies on her guilt that will look like her. I can’t wait to get home and start putting it together.

They have some left, but it’s also available online through Fabric.com and other fabric stores. If you google “Soulshine and daydreams fabric” or “Kelly Rae Roberts fabric”, it will come up. I hope that helps!

I love this fabric line. I am a purse maker and my business is called “A Purse for a Purpose” because I use the profit from my business to support children in need through Compassion Int’l, missionaries, and other important causes. I use lots of word fabrics to be an encouragement to the women who buy my bags. Your word fabric is being used for a line of purses I am making to support the cause of a family in my community whose daughter died of cancer shortly after giving birth. This young woman was a beautiful person inside and out, and I thought the words of your “soulshine and daydream” line were just perfect for this project. Can’t wait to see what your next line is and I sure hope you have words in it!!! Love your art so much!

I love your new collection and I’m looking forward to purchasing some of the fabrics. I’m also interested in the apron pattern your Mom used. It looks perfect for me since I’m always getting paint on my clothes when I’m doing my art. Would you mind sharing if that pattern is available and if so, where? Thank you so much!!! Bonnie Annis

Hi Bonnie, she used an old apron she had and created the pattern from it, but I believe that there is a similar pattern by Indygo Junction, which you can see right here: https://indygojunction.com/collections/aprons

So much sunshine! Every piece you shared made my heart so happy. I am picturing making new curtains, bookshelf toppers, table clothes and wall art to brighten my first grade classroom! My kiddos will love all the cheer. It’s a snow day for us and I’m feeling dreamy and inspired by you. Thank you for all the light and joy you share.
PS. It’s been so busy at school since the pandemic. I have been saving the course I bought last March, “Hello Soul, Hello Mantra,” to enjoy this summer! I can’t wait!

Is there any chance the Stitchin’ Post will order more? The hearts fabric is sold out and I really wanted that pattern.

OMG! LOVE this new fabric collection! Is there any chance your mom (or someone) would be willing / able to make the products you showed us on the video? I’m awful at sewing, but I would buy that pillow, hobo bag, and apron in a hot second if it were available!

Kelly, these are amazing! What a great idea to put you art in fabric. I can’t wait to add these to my mixed media art projects! Maybe i will have to use my sewing machine for something other than mixed media, a simple skirt maybe doable for me.😅
