Can we paalllease talk about this face?

This is where I’ve been doing my computer work this week. This is the first warm season that we’ve been able to enjoy our new back deck. I know I keep going on and on about it. Forgive me. I am in total freaking bliss out here, writing my heart out. Also, I’m so proud of all of my plant babies, especially my hanging plant baskets that I planted back in Dec. They’re taking off now and I loooovvvve all the green. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Man I love it when it’s all tidy. Even if it lasts all but five minutes before the legos are strewn all over the floor, which I sort of also love because, well, I know I’ll miss it when he’s grown.

Raise your hand if you’re a homebody! I looooovve being home. I love having a little temple of our own that nourishes the landscape of my family’s life. I love making our spaces matter so that they tend to our needs and all the things we want more of in our lives (color! space! community! plants! light! books!). There are times and days and seasons where I barely leave the house and that is perfectly alright with me. You too? I knew we were friends 🙂

Going through photos on my phone and found this recent one of Greggie and my mom. How cute are they? In their 70s and rocking it. Greggie came into my life when I was 16ish. Super gentle and caring and kind spirit. Currently, he is sneaking in extra worms into their backyard so that the mama robin has more than enough to feed her babies. (She comes back each year!)

We are so crazy grateful to have them just down the street. They moved here from FL when True was about 8 months old and they are truly his best friends.

Sending much love,
