She is strong, hopeful, and a little bit quirky. She sees beauty in the mess, and she holds bright hope for what’s to come. She has a strong, knowing spirit full of love. And a brave heart that has many stories to tell.
I’ve noticed that ever since last Autumn when I began the controlled forest burn of all the overgrowth of my life, that life not only feels more simplified (in all the best ways) but that I’m craving simplicity in my paintings as well.
I’m loving the result. It always feels SO good to discover another creative edge and to cross over.

She was embracing her quirks, the things that made up the individual soul of who she was, and who she was becoming. She closed her eyes often in pure gratitude of her life, for the abundance that she fiercely held in her heart. She was joyful, peaceful, and at home within herself.
