An invitation to listen to that inner voice that whispers, “More nature, more wellness, more creativity, more connection.”

Manzanita, Oregon

How It Works
How It Works

I have experienced over and over again the powerful shifts that occur when women gather and reflect to one another their vibrancy. We come more alive, more in tune with our hearts, and more inspired to live the lives that call to us.

I’m deeply excited to host this luxurious, one-of-a-kind retreat in one of my favorite places on Earth: Manzanita, Oregon, a rare gem of a town, located on the majestic Oregon Coast. Come reawaken the essence of your beautiful spirit and cultivate connection with other creative kindreds. I can hardly wait to share this experience with you!

Hello, joyful ease.

Our days will be a lovely blend of creative play + exploration, guided wellness activities, and meaningful conversation. We’ll also gather around for plant-based meals, all lovingly prepared by my husband, John, who is passionate about using food as daily nourishment and medicine.

How It Works
How It Works

I’ve designed this exclusive retreat to feel luxurious, deeply nourishing, and full of joy. You can expect gorgeous details, a high-end retreat home, and all sorts of thoughtful activities specifically designed to spark your creativity, nurture your being, and create long-lasting connections.

Stunning Accommodations

Our gathering will take place in an expansive + beautiful oceanfront home located in the small coastal town of Manzanita, Oregon.

You’ll have your own bed and depending on what you choose, either a private room + bath or a shared room + bath. There will be plenty of unstructured time to enjoy all that this gorgeous, high-end property has to offer. The views will leave you exhaling with wonder.

More information on accommodations below.

Creative Joy

Throughout our time together, we’ll gather around and create in casual, informal ways. We’ll take photo walks, art journal, and dive into a few easy painting projects. Please note: Although we’ll get creative, this isn’t a retreat with a painting focus.

We’ll also spend time walking the beach, watching sunsets, and wandering around the lovely town of Manzanita where cute shops are aplenty. Hello, inspiration!

You bring your creative spirit. I’ll bring ALL the supplies.

Wellness + Nourishment

I believe that we must find time to refill our wells, nourish our creative spirits, and take time to listen to our hearts. Taking time to exit our daily lives while being surrounded by nature and kindred spirits is a beautiful act of self-care. Together, we’ll spend time quieting the noise and tuning into our hearts with guided ceremonies, writing exercises, nature walks, gentle yoga, and more.

We’ll also enjoy a couple of outings so we can take in the natural beauty of this area.

There will be ample downtime for those of you who are seeking refuge.

You’ll leave feeling refreshed, nourished, and inspired to step back into your life with a renewed vibrancy.

Plant-based Meals

We’ll be fed delicious, organic (when able) plant-based meals and snacks that will leave you swooning and wanting to take John (my husband/chef) home with you.

He’ll teach us his favorite culinary tricks during casual tutorials and keep us hydrated with his amazing smoothies and juices. John is a passionate plant-based chef with a background in nursing (a Master’s in Nursing). Wanna pick his brain about using food as medicine? He’d LOVE that!

Plant-based never tasted so good.

Lots of time with me, Kelly Rae

I have always dreamed of hosting a one-of-a-kind retreat where I can float in and out of roles: Part art teacher, part girlfriend, part life/wellness guide, part host enthusiast/geek, part mentor, part just another woman gathering with kindreds.

At this retreat I am here to host you, love you up, encourage you, guide you, and be a sister-friend. I’ll be sleeping in the house with you, sharing meals with you, making coffee/tea in my pj’s with you, as well as hosting and leading all the amazing activities I have planned for us.

I’m looking forward to spending this kind of rare, intimate, super quality time with you!!

Belonging + Connection

Every retreat I’ve hosted brings together the perfect constellation of women, a lovely blend of energies and personalities. Magic unfolds, connections are sparked, and lifelong friendships are born. Nothing delights me more than creating a loving, nurturing environment for deep connections to thrive.

It’s always a beautiful unfolding to witness. And I am always in awe.

Come meet your sisters!

How It Works
How It Works

As an Oregon resident, I’ve been visiting the incomparable Oregon Coast for twenty years. It’s unspoiled, rugged, and profoundly, naturally, beautiful. The coast has many lovely small beach towns, but none other than Manzanita, which charmed me immediately with its quiet, slow-paced beauty. Nestled between two state parks, it’s tranquil and charming.

I’ve hosted gatherings here many times over the years. The sunshine, the quiet, the beautiful ocean, the greener than green forest, and the charming town itself with its cute shops and art galleries – it’s all a stunning backdrop for connection and transformation.

Hello, rejuvenation!

This is the perfect space to exhale. To restore and get inspired. To simply be. I can hardly wait to share this gorgeous area with you!

“One of the most amazing experiences of my life. She is even more charming, inspirational, and instructional in person! Between our soul work, watching demonstrations, time for play and artistic exploration, and connecting with a group of like-minded sisters, this retreat helped me tap into my authentic, creative, fun-loving, and deep thinking self. I loved every second of it.”

- Cynthia Cary,

“I have participated in Kelly Rae’s online courses, but nothing compares to the experience of being pulled into her open-heart way of being…I didn’t realize how much more I would walk away with beyond the artwork. I think about my time…and it brings me back to who I am and the grace that came out of being with Kelly Rae and the other amazing women who were a part of it.”

- Michelle Whitaker

“I have no words that can truly explain how my heart grew during [the retreat]. I feel full, loved, complete and an immense amount of peace. Thank you, Kelly Rae, for taking your gifts and transforming my soul. I give myself the gift of a different type of retreat every few years to help me stay grounded and keep my priorities aligned. This retreat, by far, exceeded all of my expectations and surpassed any that I have previously attended.”

-Christina McConnell

“I was blessed in so many ways. Thank you for creating a safe space where we could bring our hearts for unpacking. I loved our circle time.  What a blessing it was to speak love and truth into the lives of the other women.  I was also deeply blessed by receiving the words of you and the others. I discovered many things that had been waiting for me to get still so I could receive their messages.  Thank you for your generosity and love.”

Wendy

“I am so grateful that I got to spend the week with Kelly Rae doing her transformational workshop!
I had never painted before and had no idea what I was to expect. I was so happy to meet Kelly Rae and her sweet energy! She opened up my heart, my hand with a paintbrush and allowed a beautiful awakening to occur. Thank you so much Kelly Rae for sharing your amazing gift and encouraging me to continue to trust my own gifts and path! You are a true light and inspiration to me! I am honored to know and to have shared space with you.”

-Marisa Goldstein

“The best ‘gift’ I ever gave to myself was to attend Kelly Rae Roberts retreat. Kelly Rae’s warm and nurturing manner allowed me to relax, be fully present and play with my art! It was truly a joyful and transformational experience!”

-Tracy

Questions? I've got answers.
Questions? I've got answers.
Where is Manzanita and how do I get there?

Manzanita is located on the Oregon Coast, about 2.5 hours from Portland, OR.

You would fly into Portland, Oregon and then either rent a car and drive to Manzanita on your own or ride-share with other retreat participants. I will create a private Facebook Group for all who are attending so that ride-shares can be coordinated. The drive from Portland to Manzanita takes you through the forest, and then along the Oregon Coast, which is breathtakingly gorgeous!

When do I check in/check out?

Please plan to arrive at our retreat home on Wednesday, July 15th between 3-5pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 5pm as to give you time to settle in. Our Opening Ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm.

Please plan to depart our retreat home on Sunday, July 19th by 10am.

What's the weather like?

Summer weather generally arrives on the Oregon Coast by July 4th of each year.

You should expect mostly sunny days with the highs in the low-mid 70’s and lows of 50’s. It’s BEAUTIFUL! Of course, it’s Oregon, so layers are essential.

Can you accommodate special diets?

Absolutely. A few weeks before arriving, I’ll send an email asking for your specific needs and if you have any special requests.

What if I've never painted before? Do I need to bring art supplies?

No worries. All creative exercises will be exploratory in nature and perfect for all levels of experience. I’ll bring all the art supplies so all you need to do is show up with an open heart and willingness to explore your creativity.

Will there be stairs/strenuous activity?

Although no strenuous physical activity is planned, our retreat home does have stairs. Also, we will be walking on the beach and on hiking trails/roads that have uneven surfaces.

Our retreat home is walking distance to the little village in Manzanita, though it is about half a mile. You can either walk along the road or on the beach into town.

How do the payment plans work again?

A non-refundable deposit of $800 is required to reserve your room. After I receive your deposit, I’ll send you an email confirmation and your options for paying your balnace due.

You’ll have the option to either pay the remaining balance in full or via three installments due Feb 15th, Mar 15th, and April 15th. All payments must be paid online via credit card.

Cancellations

Your $800 deposit is non-refundable. If, however, I am able to fill your spot, I will refund any amount paid beyond your deposit.  If I am not able to fill your spot, no refund will be given.

In the unlikely event that this retreat needs to be canceled (nature disasters, local forest fires, etc), I will offer you a full refund. I am unable, however, to refund your airfare. I strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance.

Can I sleep in the same room with my friend?

If you want to be sure you and your friend are in the same bunk bedroom or the shared queen room
You and your friend will both need to register for the retreat separately. If you want to be in the same room together, be sure you both choose the same shared room option (either the shared queen room or one of the bunk bedrooms).

If you want to share a SINGLE with a friend (either the single kings or queens)
If you want to share one of the single room options (either of the single king rooms or either of the single queen rooms), you will need to pay an additional $2900 for the additional person (retreat prices are per person not per room). Can I attend the retreat without staying at the house?

No, this is not an option for this kind of retreat.

Will you offer this kind of retreat again?

This is truly a one-of-a-kind exclusive retreat. I will not offer this kind of retreat again this year, but it’s possible in 2021 depending on how life unfolds! Be sure to sign up for the Interest List on the retreat page to stay informed!

I can't make this retreat. Will you have any others this year?

Although I won’t have any other retreats quite like this one, I do have a couple of other retreats planned for 2020. Here’s what’s coming up:

August 10 – 14: Creative Stillness, a retreat in France that I will co-lead with my friend Lacy Young.

Sept 16 – 20: Spirit Wings, an angel painting retreat in Sisters, OR

Oct 12-16Hello Soul, Hello Business, a business wellness retreat for entrepreneurs in England, co-lead with my friend Beth Kempton

I have more questions. How can I reach you?

No worries. I’m here for you. Write to me at hello@kellyraeroberts.com.
