Last Day of Demdaco Appreciation Week!

Jun 24, 2011 | Entrepreneurship, Life in Progress

I’d like to end Demdaco Appreciation Week with one final giveaway (see below) and a sneak peek of brand spankin new products that are releasing NOW!

krr summer demdaco collection
This is likely one of my favorite Demdaco product releases yet….let me show you!
We’ve got several large mirrors coming out but this one if my FAVE. Notice the hook on the right and shabby knob on the bottom and the little hope note on the bottom left that reads lovely you? Swoon! Yes, yes, this is a home-run for me – can’t wait to put this up in our house! It’s big – 18×24

We’ve got several canvas wall pieces hung from wooden rulers (so cool) and velvet ribbon. Love these to pieces! They roll up beautifully to gift as well. Love, love these!

Frames. Frames! Here are just two of my faves but there are many more where these came from!

Travel mugs to brighten up  your morning commute – we all need a bit of artsy love in the morning, right? I am seriously excited over these bad boys.

We’ve got a few of these awesome large magnet boards – perfect for creative spaces, office spaces, home spaces.  LOVE! I want to put these in my kitchen, my office, my bedroom!

While we were dreaming up magnet boards, we fell in love with the idea of creating girlie shaped magnet boards so that’s what we did. SO FUN!

More magnet fun with magnet sets….

girlies
We’ve added a few girlies to the decoratvie girlie collection. I am in love with these two. One is about Soul Sisters and the other is for all the Mama’s out there.
We love these intention candles – each poses a question (what is calling you? what can you let go? what can you invite in? what are you celebrating?). These were inspired by the idea that when we take a moment to light a candle, we can take a moment to reflect, celebrate, let go….whatever it is your heart may need in the moment.

boxy art
_MG_5890
And finally, we’ve got some pretty awesome boxy wall art for you with artsy thick sides. Love these so much – they can hang on the wall or sit all pretty by themselves. These beauties are in the shop NOW!

All of these new Demdaco products are making their debut THIS week, starting at the Dallas Market. I’ll have many of these items for sale in the online shop in the coming weeks (stay tuned!).

Thank you for celebrating Demdaco with me this week! Thank you, Demdaco, for allowing me to celebrate you! Huge thanks to Dave K for the interview (I think he started a biz revolution!) and to Anne for skyping with me and helping me pull this together! Thank you to Jonathan Jones for all the tech help! Thank you to everyone at Demdaco (everyone) for sending in your photos, your retail stories, your people stories and for all the incredible work you to do to make it all happen. It does not go unnoticed.

Huge thanks to everyone out there who support the products, who buy the products, who spread the word! Thank you for all your lovely and kind comments about Demdaco and the products! We are so grateful for you!

Thankyou KRR for sharing your heart and your truth with me, with all of us… I think those candles are such a beautiful and wonderful creation! You so need to be able to ship OS! Want to hear a funny sunshiney story? My daughter said today that the planes couldn't fly recently because the volcano in Chile interrupted… lol – well, they did interrupt the flights! Hope your day is sunshiney too – bless x Donna

Kelly Rae, you have no idea how your story, your art, your book, your e-course fit into my life like it was orchestrated to happen that way. I give God the credit. He is good, and I love it when He does amazing things like that. I LOVE your new art releases and products! How fun!

Kelly, upon discovering your art, your book and blog, you have inspired me to rediscover the artist within me that lay dormant for 30 years. You have given me the courage and hope to begin to establish a presence and a life for my art. I'm in the beginning discovery phase of trial and error, of finding my artistic voice and style; but I know because of you and many other talented women on the internet, ALL is a possibility. Last winter, to my surprise, I came across your products in a small shop located in a small Kansas town and I knew then that the universe was reaffirming what I already felt about you, your journey and your art. Thank you!

You are amazing, your positivity is infectious. Love your pretty new products. I am wearing my heart on my sleeve, I am eating up all that life is giving me and trying very hard NOT to take any of it for granted, I am learning that it is a good thing sometimes for me to sit back and let someone else do something once in a while, and I am going to chase my dreams till I have burned all the rubber off the bottom of my runners….and then some. Would love to meet you some day Kelly, I can just tell you are one of those people who once you have met, you can never forget. Truly genuine, don't ever change.

It's been a *really* tough week for me… and I'm learning (yet again) that *my plan* isn't always the *right* plan… that I have to trust in something bigger than that… even when that's a giant struggle.

Thank you for these amazing giveaways!

Thank you so much for this week of give aways – even if I don't win anything it was amazing to see the back ground work that goes into your amazing art – and how cool are your new products – I will be putting some of these on my wish list for birthdays and xmas!

I also wanted to let you know how amazing I think you are – such an inspiration to artists both established and those who create art just in their heads! I wanted to tell you that when I found your blog in 2007 I was going through my own transformation in regards to my artistic life and reading your own journey made me feel as if I wasn't alone – I wasn't the only one out there with these feelings.

So thank you. Thank you for your inspiring words, your beautiful art, and your honesty and truth. I wish you the very best for the future.

Tonight I learned what a strong young lady my 12 year old daughter is. Two days ago she was asked to sing for a gala. She went to the practice and just broke down. She forgot the words, the music was wrong, etc. When she came home she just broke down and cried "I can't do it" After we talked we went back to the rehearsal and practiced several times. I gave her the option to not perform and she refused. Saying I made a commitment. I felt proud that she stuck it out. She worked it out it! It was hard to watch her go through all that but a truly proud moment for me. Your art stands for just such moments.

I decided to post after i got back from a walk to go see the Extreme Makeover Home Edition house, being built in the area.

I was so amazed a the good work all of the volunteers are doing to get the house built in just 7 days. It's amazing the power you can feel coming from all of those good people coming together to make it happen. I was so inspired! This is just day one… can't wait to check it out every day. It really makes me happy!

Today was the first time my little girl walked to the park to meet a friend, by herself. I waited by the phone and thought about how brave and wonderful she is. Of course, I had my cell phone on the highest possible ringer setting! She is doing such a beautiful job growing up.

Just said goodbye to my Deaf 5th graders and sent them out into the big sometimes scary, unfair, isolating world. They will no longer be under my wings, but not will fly on their own. Before they left, I told each one that I loved them. And thats no joke. I do. Truly. I didn't birth them, but they have a place in my heart for the rest of my days. THAT is why I LOVE what I do. <3
