Hey friends,
I’ve stumbled upon some awesomeness lately, and wanted to share the link love with you. Also, I have a few obsessions and announcements that I wanted to share, too. ENJOY!
* Recently discovered
Hard Tail Long Skinny T’s. Oh my. A little pricey but worth every cent. I wear mine under everything and layered with everything. Covers the booty just so, too. Love!
* Speaking of a little pricey but so worth it, hello Prairie Underground! I recently bought one of their
long cloak hoodies and I’m certain I will wear it several times a week, all year long. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
* Definitely going through a make-up phase. Recently discovered
this gold eyeliner and this amazing
lip color (in saucy). And call me crazy, but I’ve been using
this product for three weeks and my skin has never felt better.
* Can I just say how happy I am that Parenthood is back on TV. It’s one of my all time faves. And Scandal. So glad it’s back too.

* I’m a little obsessed with True’s
newest shoes. I’m thinking these will get framed when he grows out of them. We love them that much. The maker of these shoes (Livie & Luca) make a ton of really awesome kid shoes.
Check em out. So glad I made this discovery!
* Speaking of adorable, I’ve got a blog crush on
her and her hair, too. And
the bunnies she made? I couldn’t resist.
* Related to every word she said. She had me at “I write this for any woman who has a deep calling to share her
message & her work with the world, yet feels that she has to “back
off” once she becomes pregnant and begins the journey into motherhood.” This is an ongoing, constant struggle for me and I know I’m not alone.
* This old friend of mine is offering up an ecourse called A Year Of Painting. I’ve known Alena for years (we go way back to college days!) and I’ve always thought of her as a great teacher, so I’m certain her ecourse will be ahhmmazing!
* Honored that her man
told the story of how we came to be collaborators. And he’s right. If it hadn’t happened to me, I would not have believed it either! Beth and I will be relaunching Hello Soul Hello Business next year with a brand new website, ecourse experience, updated content, and more. Super excited.
* Can’t remember who told me about
this band, but I’m so thankful. Love them, big time. It’s rare that I find new music, so I’m always on the look out. Also, am I the last to hear about
The Cival Wars? So good!
* Brand new to
their site, but seriously loving the inspiration.
* Totally adore Koren. Met her recently at a writing class and loved her easy energy. Do you listen to her
How She Really Does It podcasts? I listen to them all the time when I’m creating or hanging out. She has SUCH amazing conversations with her guests. The one with Martha Beck is a recent fave. We recently had a conversation about all things trust and faith to create the life that is waiting for you. You can take a listen
here.
You guys, I’m brimming with happy announcements. Please let me celebrate a few things for a few moments and give you the skinny (I don’t want you to miss anything!)…….
* Brene’s ecourse on
Oprah.com starts Sunday! Are you guys ready? I’m
excited.
Here’s the post where I share more about my experience filming one of the lessons with her for the course. The entire ecourse is gonna be amazing. Don’t miss it!
* Pre-sales for the 2014 datebooks and calendars are going strong (thank you!). Please be sure to get your order before we stop taking pre-sales in early Nov! All the details are
here.
* Big news! We’re hosting an exclusive
holiday edition of our popular
HIP HIP HOORAY GIVEAWAY PARTY on December 10th! Wanna join the party and get some extra holiday traffic to your site? We’d love to have you. More details over
here, friends!
* Loving the little dance party I had when we surpassed 25K Facebook Friends. We work really hard on our
FB page and I LOVE being in conversation with you guys over there. To celebrate, I’m offering a sale (details
here). HUGE gratitude to you for supporting me, believing with me, and being a part of my online tribe. Love you guys!

And I’ll end with this poem that I recently refound. It’s a keeper, this one. xxooo.
May our eyes remain open even in the face of tragedy.
May we not become disheartened.
May we find in the dissolution
of our apathy and denial,
the cup of the broken heart.
May we discover the gift of the fire burning
in the inner chamber of our being –
burning great and bright enough
to transform any poison.
May we offer the power of our sorrow to the service
of something greater than ourselves.
May our guilt not rise up to form
yet another defensive wall.
May the suffering purify and not paralyze us.
May we realize the greatness of our sorrow
and not run from its touch or flame.
May clarity be our ally and wisdom our support.
May our wrath be cleansing, cutting through
the confusion of denial and greed.
May we not be afraid to see or speak our truth.
May the bleakness of the wasteland be dispelled.
May the soul’s journey be revealed
and the true hunger fed.
May we be forgiven for what we have forgotten
and blessed with the remembrance
of who we really are.
