* Can I just say how happy I am that Parenthood is back on TV. It’s one of my all time faves. And Scandal. So glad it’s back too.
* Related to every word she said. She had me at “I write this for any woman who has a deep calling to share her
message & her work with the world, yet feels that she has to “back
off” once she becomes pregnant and begins the journey into motherhood.” This is an ongoing, constant struggle for me and I know I’m not alone.
* This old friend of mine is offering up an ecourse called A Year Of Painting. I’ve known Alena for years (we go way back to college days!) and I’ve always thought of her as a great teacher, so I’m certain her ecourse will be ahhmmazing!
I’ve stumbled upon some awesomeness lately, and wanted to share the link love with you. Also, I have a few obsessions lately that I wanted to share, too. Everything from clothes to books to ecourse and more. ENJOY! – See more at: http://kellyraeroberts.blogspot.com/2013/09/current-obsessions-link-love.html#sthash.e5QlsM2V.dpuf
And I’ll end with this poem that I recently refound. It’s a keeper, this one. xxooo.
May we not become disheartened.
May we find in the dissolution
of our apathy and denial,
the cup of the broken heart.
May we discover the gift of the fire burning
in the inner chamber of our being –
burning great and bright enough
to transform any poison.
May we offer the power of our sorrow to the service
of something greater than ourselves.
May our guilt not rise up to form
yet another defensive wall.
May the suffering purify and not paralyze us.
May we realize the greatness of our sorrow
and not run from its touch or flame.
May clarity be our ally and wisdom our support.
May our wrath be cleansing, cutting through
the confusion of denial and greed.
May we not be afraid to see or speak our truth.
May the bleakness of the wasteland be dispelled.
May the soul’s journey be revealed
and the true hunger fed.
May we be forgiven for what we have forgotten
and blessed with the remembrance
of who we really are.
