Love of Paper and Words

Sep 3, 2018 | Entrepreneurship, Life in Progress

This is how I came into art and the creative life back in 2005. I was making gifts like these, inspired by the mixed-media world of vintage photos turned into quirky pieces. This is my mom and Greggie as littles. Aren’t they cute?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One thing led to another and I began using more and more paint, but these were my beginnings of a love of paper and words.

My mom still has these up on her walls, along with all sorts of my very early beginnings. What I learned during that time of my life is that to simply follow our delight is not superficial, but rather it’s a deeply woven thread of remembrance that can lead us home to ourselves.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My wish for you and all of us is that we listen to the calls of our hearts, however faint or loud, and allow that call to guide us home.

Sending much love,
