This is a reworked painting. Below you can see the older version:
We grow. We evolve. We see things differently. Permission granted to rework paintings that don’t quite feel like you anymore. Ditto for your wardrobe. Your furnishings. Your tribe. A little bit of renewed vision and nurturing goes a long way.

Big love,
Omg, i have been pondering for days if its ok to rework the faces of the girls i did at 1440! I am torn because i want to honor where i started and preserve thar beginning? But i also
Look at them and cringe a little because of what i want to change? I have high res scans of them so they wouldnt be wiped away forever. Is ok to rework in this case where i feel
Drawn to preserve them as well??! Best, Michelle Whitaker
Hi Michelle! I say listen to what you’re gut is telling you and let go let go let go. You’ve got the originals from 1440 preserved in scans, this is a good exercise in seeing where inspiration can take you!
