Permission Granted

Nov 20, 2017 | Life in Progress

I’ve been on/off sick for a little over two weeks. Nothing crazy, just a very persistent nasty cold that has me super low on energy. Things took a turn yesterday, and I found myself in urgent care with a massive, and I’m talking MASSIVE, earache.

I am feeling super grateful today for medicine, for relief, for painless sleep.

As I move into week three of no workouts, delayed projects (both at home and at work), and things piling up, I am working hard to listen to the whispers that says, “Slow it down EVEN MORE” and “Permission granted to sleep alllllll day” and “It can all wait. Let yourself off the hook.”

I had big plans to launch The Possibilitarian Wellness Tribe (you guys are going to love love love it). But instead, I’m allowing and trusting that it will launch when it’s meant to launch. I also had a couple of days carved out this week to dive deep into visioning and planning 2018. Ah well. The entrepreneur path – as are all of our work paths – is flooded with self-compassion opportunities. I love how the Universe works to give us these opportunities to walk our talk.

And so, this week you will find me resting up, taking stock of my gratitudes, letting myself off the hook (already reserved the already made turkey at the grocery store!), and giving myself loads of permission. And definitely hanging out with these two bulldogs that I love the mostest. Have you seen them over at @ameliaandlulu? They are hysterical.

Sending you all warmth as we move into this Holiday week. Here’s to alignment over hustle, in all things.

Sending much love,

    Hi Kelly,

Try scheduling work ONLY every other week on your calendar.

The in between time will be spent in ways that may surprise you.

We easily forget that our visual thoughts create our reality.

    Rest…Replenish…Take one step forward…or back…Repeat.

    Cheers to your life!

Thank you for the beauty you shine onto the world.

I am certainly all the better for it.
