“Saturnine Princess” – acrylics on wood. available on my etsy.

better. feeling better. i’ve spent the last couple of days either in a bookstore, in the studio, walking my dog, or reading Eat, Love, Pray by elizabeth gilbert. this is a fantastic book. to say i merely read it would be a misstatement. i devoured this book.

Sending much love,

This is wonderful!! yay-new paintings! And I loved Gilbert’s book too- I saw her at Powells just after it came out. If we’d been friends then, we could have gone together- AND met at Anthropologie across the street first, of course! Missing you here. Sometimes I or Laini say “I miss Kelly! I wish she was still here,”…but alas, you are laying the foundation for a creatively rich and fulfilling life there. But that doesn’t mean you are missed any less around here.

I think I sense a little melancholy in her face…I adore this piece and i’d love to see more like it!
So happy you are feeling like painting again!
