Soul Care Manifesto

May 5, 2016 | My Creative Practice

Print (regular AND oversized!!) available from my shop!

I’ve learned so much about soul care in the last few years. How crucial it is to the health our families. To our creativity. To our bodies. Our hearts. I’ve experienced yo-yo burnout so many times the last many years, I’ve lost count. But slowly I’ve been replacing the frequency of burnout with a deeper level of nourishment. It takes an enormous amount of courage to lean OUT of work and lean in to our own care.

I was inspired to create a Soul Care manifesto as a reminder to nurture the inner landscapes of our hearts. It’s about releasing the guilt-fueled idea that soul care has to be expensive or time-consuming and instead, filling our days with tiny micro practices that nourish, strengthen and care for us. We all do Soul Care differently but ultimately it’s about pausing for a few sacred moments of whatever fills us up. Because it’s healing. And important. And sacred.

XO

PS: Prints of this new manifesto are available in our new shop!

Sending much love,
