Take What You Need

Sep 20, 2018 | Life in Progress

Confession: I woke up in CA this morning at 3:45 AM and took a long ride via Uber to the Oakland airport only to be told that I was AT THE WRONG AIRPORT. Not only was I at the wrong airport, they had zero flights available to get me home to Oregon. Raise your hand if you’ve done that before?

Friends, it was a moment of moments. All of my overwhelm, my sadness, all of it, just poured out. Big tears. Right there at the airport kiosk.

I surrendered. What else can you do?

I scrambled, rounded up another Uber and miraculously made it to the San Jose airport in time to catch my flight home.

Needless to say, I need REST. How about you? If you saw this sign today, what tab would you pull off?

Ps: feel free to download this and put up around your town ;). Click here.

Sending much love,

Hello! I am visiting a dear friend in California and she has this hanging in her bathroom. I absolutely fell in love with it! Is this still available for purchase anywhere? It would be just perfect for my daughter. Thank you!

I saw this piece in my oncologist’s office. I would love to purchase some for gifts (and, of course, one for me), but I can’t find them. Can you help me?

Whenever I get overloaded with too many things going wrong, tears come into my eyes…as a release.

Tears are a trigger for me to breathe and look around my present environment.

Next, I literally look for two things…BEAUTY and HELP!

The beauty of the world changes everything for me and help from others gets me closer to a solution.

No matter what the situation, beauty or help are usually available…if even in the smallest way.

I personally am working on FORGIVENESS. Thanks for having that one available! Glad you made a flight home. Whew! My thinking is always WHY did this happen? WHAT was the LESSON I was supposed to learn from it? <3

Oh honey, I’m so sorry! What a blessing that you made it to the right airport on time and were able to get home. Now you have a funny (it’ll be funny one day) story and a life lesson.
