Tears and Communes

Aug 13, 2005 | Life in Progress

My mom and I had a nice conversation about all that i’ve been thinking about (mostly in the ‘growing up’ post). She told me I was a gift to her, that i was smart, talented and beautiful. In that instant I just melted and the tears came a rollin’ down my face. Then she told me a funny story about how she just knew she wanted to live in a nyc commune when she was in her early 20s. My mom rocks.

Sending much love,
