Time lapse video of Be Glad painting

Jul 13, 2016 | My Creative Practice

Hi friends!

I thought I’d share a recent time-lapse of a painting I made for one of my weekly Kelly Rae Unscripted videos.

I am LOVING this new subscription for so many reasons. It feels like a sacred practice for me to show up and practice all the things I often talk about. I’m pushing my edges, creating new ways of working, working through all the gremlins that come up when I paint, being bold when I’m feeling stuck, and on and on and on. And I’m doing it all while being filmed. There is something about it all being filmed that makes me stay accountable, and honest about the process. And I like that.

What I also love about this weekly filming practice is that I can chit chat with whoever may be watching about all the things that have popped up in my life that week. It feels like having lots of art buddies once a week to make stuff.

The next video goes out Friday. Come join the fun!

XO!

Sending much love,

    Hi Kelly Rae:

Someone told me that I should Google you because my work reminded me of yours…so I FINALLY got a chance to do it. Our process is eerily similar! So nice to meet you. Off to find you on Facebook. <3

LOVED the time lapse video of this painting, but OMG the picture in the email under GRATITUDE following the video of Lulu looking over the edge of the table was absolutely PRECIOUS!! I SERIOUSLY LOVE it!!
