Your Heart Will Never Be Alone

Your heart will never be alone.
I’m loving this new painting. I am so grateful for the support I’ve felt along the way. My life transformed in astonishing ways the second I decided to leap into the creative life circa 2006 (you can read through my small steps right here). I feel like I’ve got some invisible wings, soaring on the support of what I now know to be true: that we are all meant for the journeys of everyday courage, that ordinary small steps lead to extraordinary changes, that we all deserve the kind of support that buoys us in times of struggle and in times of celebration. That we are meant to find the sacred in the ordinary, to heal our hearts, to seek inspiration for ourselves and then to radiate it outward. That success isn’t about what we’ve accomplished, but more about who we’ve become.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my early journey. The journey of childhood, the teen years, my early 20s. My 20th high school reunion is coming up soon and I suppose I’ve been reflecting, even diving into my diaries I kept as a teenager. In between the reflection, I just find myself incredibly grateful to have made it to today. Life is precious. I don’t want to miss a thing.
XO,
Kelly Rae

Sending much love,

    Kelly,
Nobody does it alone! We all have at some point as you said been "buoyed" by others in our lives. I know I have! I am so thankful for those that have encouraged me on this crazy journey of life. Thanks for sharing your talent and amazing gift of vulnerability with us all! You always inspire me!

Lovely piece Kelly, and your thoughts are insightful. As an artist at the farther end of life, I love seeing you discover yourself.

I also look back at my early years and wish I had journaled as you have done (and still do). Keep it up, you most certainly do not want to miss a thing. Your son will love you all the more for these memories 🙂

Love and peace be with you,
    Lynne Adamson Adrian
