Let’s make art side by side and heart by heart on projects that are whispering for our attention.
Imagine this:
Every week for 12 weeks, you show up — just as you are — to a cozy, casual live gathering of heart-led fellow creatives working on their art.
You bring whatever project is calling you: your paintings, your sketchbook, your digital art, your collage mess, your knitting, your open heart.
We begin with a brief, lighthearted check-in — a gentle space to name what’s rising for you (and me) in the creative process.
Then we make art together. You work on your project, and I’ll work on mine — or maybe you’ll just hang out, sip your tea, and get inspired by the art and energy filling the space.
As if you’d dropped by my studio, we’ll mix easy conversation with quiet creating.
And then we keep showing up, week after week — building creative momentum, community, and joy.
Creative Playdates is
a cozy, all-levels-welcome art club where, for 12 weeks, we’ll gather virtually to move our creative projects forward.
This is your invitation to have a standing date with your creativity —
and a community of kindred spirits who speak the language of creativity — the wonder, the wobble, and all the in-between.

How it works
Gathering Details.
We’ll meet live on Zoom every Thursday for 12 weeks, starting May 15th, 2025, from 2pm-3.30pm PST. Can’t make it? No worries, you’ll have access to the replays.
At the beginning of each of our Creative Playdates, I’ll set the tone for a loving and playful 90 minutes ahead. We’ll take a moment to ground our hearts, our bodies, and our creative spirits — and gently anchor into the creative intentions we want to invite in for our session.
Creating, Side by Side
After a warm welcome and a brief check-in, we’ll dive into our art: you’ll work on your project, I’ll work on mine — just like we’re gathered around a big cozy studio table together. All creative projects welcome!
You’re welcome to keep your video on or off — whatever feels best for you that day.
I’ll have my camera on so you can see my full creative process.
Some weeks, you might see me working on a BIG canvas painting (my current obsession!),
and other weeks, I might work on a digital mixed media painting in Procreate. No matter what, you’ll get to see it unfold in real time — the layers, the mess, the magic.
Quiet Flow + Cozy Chatter
During our creative time, we’ll flow naturally between quiet focus (with music humming in the background) and easygoing conversation.
One of my favorite parts of Creative Playdates is swapping what’s lighting us up while we work on our art— books, shows, recipes, and more. You’ll hear about my latest obsessions, and yours will be warmly welcomed too.

Celebrate + Share
After our creative time, there will be space for a little show-and-tell (only if you want to!), some easygoing Q&A with me, and plenty of celebrating the small — and big — steps we each took.
Whether you share a finished piece, a messy middle, or just a moment you’re proud of, it’s all welcome.
You’ll leave with fresh inspiration, a few more creative sparks, and a whole lot of encouragement to carry you through until next time.

Most of the time, my art practice is a mostly solo adventure — just me, my paints, and the quiet hum of my studio.
I love it. And sometimes, I miss the easy connection of creating alongside other kindreds.
Over the years, a couple of creative friends and I started making casual dates to work on our projects together over Zoom.
No big agenda. No pressure. Just real-time creating, side-by-side from our corners of the world.
Those dates quickly became a lifeline — a mix of giggles, encouragement, accountability, and pure creative fuel that carried me through the week.
It turns out, showing up with others — even virtually — makes the whole creative process a little lighter, a little braver, a little more alive.

What are the exact dates and times of the gatherings?

What if I can’t make it live every week?
No worries! Replays will be available for each Creative Playdate, so you can watch (or rewatch) on your own time. Of course, the real-time connection is extra special, but you’re welcome to catch the magic whenever it works for you.
Do I have to share my work during the show-and-tell time?
Not at all. Sharing is completely optional. Some weeks you might feel like showing what you’re working on, and other weeks you might just want to listen and soak it all in. Both are welcome!
What kinds of creative projects are welcome?
All kinds! Bring whatever creative project is calling you: painting, knitting, journaling, digital art, sketching, collaging, doodling — it all belongs. If it lights you up, it’s perfect.
Do I have to keep my camera on?
Nope! You’re welcome to keep your camera on if you want to feel more connected, or turn it off if you’re craving more private, cozy creating time. Come as you are, always.
Is this a class or a workshop?
No — Creative Playdates isn’t a teaching course or a workshop. It’s a casual, heart-led gathering where we show up, make our art side-by-side, and tap into the creative energy of being together. Of course, watching other artists paint can be so helpful — so if you find inspiration or learning in watching me, I’m thrilled.
Is this a monthly subscription?
Nope! This is a one-time payment of $222 that covers all 12 weeks of Creative Playdates.
There are no recurring charges, no surprise fees — just a simple, all-in invitation to show up, create, and connect.
Will there be a Facebook group?
Yes! We’ll have a private Facebook group just for our Creative Playdates community.
Totally optional, but warmly available if you want a little extra creative community during the 12 weeks.
