We are ready for our Grand Opening tomorrow for @wildbeauty_sisters. @katiedaisy_artist and I have been putting all the finishing touches on her and we can't for you to seeeeeeeee!!!!

We will have drinks with @meadowlandsyrup , treats from @foxtailbakeshop , a flower market pop up from @coflowercollective , and tons of artful and meaningful art to browse.

We are giddy and so truly happy to have created this little sweet occasional shoppe together. We are ready for ya!

❤️Time and time again, something magical happens when I practice letting go. The space that the letting go creates becomes an irresistible honey pot that attracts something beautiful to drop in.

🌈Recently, I let go of my beloved Art Dates, an offering, and a community I've nurtured for 8 yrs (plus a reliable revenue stream). And more importantly, I’ve been letting go of all sorts of old beliefs/harm that live in my body. (Therapy has been so healing for me). Along the way, I wake up saying aloud, “I am open to being surprised.”

🍯And just like that, my honey pot of space attracted the MOST MAGICAL thing.

🙏🏼I have signed a contract with Hay House publishing to be the artist/illustrator of the 40th Anniversary Edition of Louise Hay‘s groundbreaking bestselling book, You Can Heal Your Life. Over 50 million copies sold! This special 40th Anniversary Ed will be available next year, and will include about 40 full-color images (including the cover!) of mine.

😮Whaaaaaaat? YES!

🙌🏼What a magical surprise and opportunity of a lifetime! I am not sure it would have arrived had I not created space in my life by letting go. There is so much trust in the middle and so much joy on the other side.

📚I have owned many of Louise’s books, including the original You Can Heal Your Life book for many many years. It sits in my bedroom amongst my favorite books whose authors feel like big sisters and mentors to me. OMG!

💞It feels like a dream to collaborate with her spirit in this way. I am thinking of her, calling on her, re-reading her words. The divinity of timing – at a moment when I’m consciously healing – isn’t lost on me.

🎨Creatively, it’s a delicious challenge, too. I am wildly grateful.

🍯Here’s to letting go, and creating irresistible honey pots of space that attract something beautiful to drop in.

Dearest friends,

I've been over here working and living and dreaming and all the things. One of the things I've been saying to myself each morning upon waking is "I am open to being surprised today." And like magic, surprises are unfolding. I love the way The Universe works.

🦄One of those surprises has been my collab with my friend @katiedaisy_artist called Wild Beauty (@wildbeauty_sisters) our quaint little showroom & occasional shop in Sisters, Oregon!

🌈We have been slowly working on her, and she's finally ready for her debut/grand opening! Will you come help us celebrate?

Omg! The last two days have been bananas!!! I taug

Omg! The last two days have been bananas!!! I taught two back to back classes yesterday at The Quilters Affair (had the sweetest students) and today I had a big vender booth at the @sistersoutdoorquiltshow (#sistersoutdoorquiltshow). Thank you to those of you who came by. It was so lovely to connect and sign Quilt Show posters too!

Special thanks to @jeanwellsquilts @valoriwells and @stitchinpost for everything. I LOVED this experience!

Shout out to my parents, John, True, @bethehow and @coffeepainter who put in so much hard work and lots of sweat and love into helping me these last few days bring it all together! Thank you too to my fabric line partner @benartex_fabrics for their wonderful support!

I didn't take a single photo of my workshop or my booth (again, bananas!), but here are a few photos from today.

My feet hurt, I have a little heat exhaustion, but my heart is full and so happy!!!

So fun to see this write up in this week's @sistersnugget ! So honored to be this years poster artist for The Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show! The show is Saturday and it's busy over here with excitement! I will have a booth behind @stitchinpost where I will sell my goodies and sign posters! Also, I am teaching two workshops tomorrow, which will be my first in a few years. Excited! If you are in town Sat, please come say hello!!

@katiedaisy_artist and I have been working in a little secret project. We're calling it Wild Beauty: A World Created by Katie Daisy and Kelly Rae Roberts. Omgosh!!!!

It will be a quaint little showroom of our wares and an occasional shop for open houses and events and appointments for those of you coming through #sistersoregon and wanna stop in and say hi.

We're having the best time blending our styles and finding chippy painted furniture to merchandise our goodies.
