Wow Kelly, Time has passed since this one!! I totally LOVE to see this first attempt. Doesn't it show that we all started somewhere and that the first attempt should stop you from painting again, and again… I guess back then you'd never guessed that today you are where you are. So much admiration that you didn't clean out your older work!!! This is the biggest show-off that everything's possible!!!
Hi Kellyrae! Thanks for your comment on my site – it was cool to find another Portlander. Yay, Portland! I love this art piece and the altered book below — really really fun stuff. Also, that picture of your dog hugging her sock monkey is too cute! You asked if I’d been to the store Collage — I have (love Alberta!) but I go more often to Art House on Broadway and First Impressions on Fremont. Finding stores like that have influenced my art so much. Looking forward to keeping in touch and learning more about you! Have been trying to get a creative women’s group together locally — you sound like you’d fit right in!

I really enjoy your work. I came upon your site and was looking through your photos. I had always wanted to visit portland and in October I did. I went to the coast also, and seeing your pictures brought back all the wonder of my visit. Keep up the great work. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Loving the music dress; wishing I had one like it. Today it would be the musical notes to “Rock Lobster” by the B-52’s
It’s beautiful. Love the feel of the whole thing.
