Hi friends,
I’m a big anniversary person. I love celebrating. I love looking back and celebrating all the small steps that get us to where we are today.
Sometimes, when we look back, we see ourselves and our work through a softer lens. I love that part of looking back. It feels more loving, more clear.
Recently, I realized that it’s the 10 year anniversary of creating a painting course that changed my life. It was called Hello Soul, Hello Mixed Media Mantras. Looking back, I realize the name was too long (ha!), but the course was transformative to my journey as a teacher. I got in front of a camera for the first time and spilled my heart, my techniques, my lessons, and my full self.
I loved it so much, and so did the women who joined me.
I retired the course about five years ago. I wanted to update it, but didn’t quite feel ready.
A few weeks ago, I took a peek at that old class, and fell in love with it all over again. I was reminded of that time in my life when creativity felt like a hot romance. I was all in. And in deep love. I was also in love with my students, and the ways we experimented and connected with the parts of ourselves that wanted to play and unleash our creativity with other kindred spirits.
Hello, magical times!
After getting enamored all over again with the content, I decided to create a very special edition of that old, beloved course. I’m calling it Mixed Media Mantras, The 10th Anniversary Edition.
It includes all the original magic of the old course, tons of NEW videos, a gorgeous new classroom, and more.
I made a video about how the original course came to be (It involves Oprah + Brene!), why I’m creating this 10th Anniversary Edition, and what to expect.
I’d love love love it if you joined me.
It’s gonna be really wonderful. I haven’t done a creativity course where I teach what I know, what I’ve learned, and how it all relates to learning on AND off the canvas in a really long time.
I can’t wait. Come join us.
Enjoying smiles each month with your calendar that was gifted me this year
Thank you so much, Shelley!
