I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last week, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me!

I took a quick trip to Minneapolis to spend the day with the creative team at Demdaco. Super excited about the upcoming new products for both my kid line and my everyday gift line. We are mixing things up a bit, disrupting the flow of the look in some exciting/refreshing ways. Could not be more thrilled. Stay tuned!

We’ve had this sign in our yard for months. I keep hoping things in America will improve and yet it feels like it’s getting worse and worse by the day and hours. I am so sad that we have a president who will not take a stand for black lives, LGBTQ lives, immigrants, refugees, and endless more hearts that deserve to be seen and known and protected and given equal value and rights. I will continue to show up. Listen. March. Write. Call. Donate. And speak up.

He lost his first tooth this week. Big deal over here. There was excitement. And then sadness (“I don’t want the tooth fairy to take my tooth! I LOVE my tooth!”). And then empowerment when he realized he could write the Tooth Fairy a letter requesting she not take the tooth but still leave a silver dollar. And then full blown insomnia trying to stay up for the Tooth Fairy. And then magical giggles in the morning when both the tooth and three silver dollars were left. Then big big plans to have a party with a cake shaped like a tooth with three layers and pink sprinkles of course.
.
I love that he celebrates everything.
.
And I love watching his kidhood unfold with so much everyday ordinary magic.

This week has been full to the max in all the best ways. Lulu is fully speaking my language in this capture by friend Tracey Clark. I’m working on getting Lulu’s Instagram acct up and running for daily doggie doses. Because, this dog.

Like all of us, I’ve been following the news very closely and sending eons of love and support to Houston. I wanted to repost this from my longtime friend @brenebrown who is in Houston and asking for help for fellow Houstonians. Please click over to her feed and watch.
