Do you ever have that feeling like you’re at the cusp of something important and beautiful, like you’re stepping into the newness of your next chapter? It feels a little tingly, a little precious, a little new, but all so good, sort of like the feeling you have after a gorgeous first date when your heart expands with possibility and joy.

I had this feeling in 2006, just as I was spreading my baby creative wings for the first time, falling in love with art-making. And of course, my whole life changed. It was a magical time.

Lately, I’ve been feeling that expansive, bubbling up of energy again (14 years later!). Not just with my creativity, but with this new life we’re building here in Central Oregon. John and I are talking so much about his dream of cooking plant-based meals for others (food truck! cafe! pop-up dinners!), my dream of creating a community here (retreats! local gatherings of creative women!).

Here’s to all the small and big dreams of 2020. May the magic unfold with ease and conscious creation.

Now I’m a full-time artist, author and Possibilitarian, who helps women explore their creativity, nourish their souls and build a thriving creative business.
