We’ve been in our new home for 9 months. So crazy how time unwinds and unfolds, sometimes softly, sometimes in a hurry. And yet, here we are, almost a year into our move to small town Sisters, OR.
So many things have quietly transformed over here and the shifts continue to reveal themselves, one day at a time. I’m so very grateful for this move. So glad we trusted ourselves. That we took the leap. That we simplified.

Life is calmer. Our health is better. We spend less money. Our connections are stronger. Our creativity is sparked. We. Feel. At. Home.
Our new house is also starting to feel homier. Memories are being made. Favorite sit spots are being visited over and over. Junk drawers are filling up with all the random little things that get collected over time. Plants are filling out. Growth is happening on many levels.

I was cleaning the house today (recently got a new vacuum that is making me actually enjoy vacuuming!).
While I was picking up the place, I snapped a few photos of a few nooks that delight me and thought I’d share them here.

It’s our first winter here and I can’t tell you what a difference it has made to have consistent sunshine (vs rainy winters in Portland > though I will always love PDX). Our hearts are clearer, less sad and heavy.
It’s also delightful to be able to wear coats that aren’t waterproof all of the time, like the red coat I’m wearing above. I recently purchased over at Gudrun.
