Life, I love you right now.

After so many months (18ish!) of being in a deep winter season of life (going dark, quietly rebuilding, enduring the inner journey), it feels like I’m emerging into a season of Spring where things look a little different. Ideas are emerging. My breath exhaling....

A creative retreat in Tuscany. It was amazing!

I recently returned home from a most extraordinary trip to Tuscany where I spent a week in the company of amazing women. I was the lucky guest teacher at The La Dolce Vita Retreat, which was hosted by Carolyn’s Prone To Wander Retreats. I’ve been to...

Small town life, I love you.

Life in Sisters continues to be a dream. A whole different (and simple) life. Now that we’re more settled (not quite unpacked but feeling like we’ve landed), the contrast of our old city life to our new small town life is deep and wide. We ride our bikes as a...

Hello + welcome!

Hey there, I’m Kelly Rae Roberts

Before I was an artist, I was a social worker. And then at the age of 30, I started playing with paint, and everything about my life changed. Today I'm passionate about making meaningful art while helping other women explore their creativity, nourish their souls, and build thriving creative businesses.

I live in a tiny town named Sisters, Oregon with my husband John, our son True, and our two English Bulldogs, Lulu Butter Butterbean and Amelia Apple Bottoms. I deeply believe that anything is possible, one small and brave step at a time.
