Weekly Update – Rejuvenating

Aug 24, 2017 | Life in Progress

I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last week, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me!

Sunday, August 20

It’s Sunday, which means watering plants. It’s a meditative practice to go around the house and tend to these plant babies. These are a few from our downstairs;). Go plant babies go!

Tuesday, August 22

Current view today as I record Behind The Scenes for the Hello Soul Hello Business sisterhood, a painting episode of Kelly Rae Unscripted, a biz meeting with Nichole, and a biz meeting with a new potential partner. Big day. Resting last week has me feeling rejuvenated and ready to dive back in.

Kelly rae…I am so excited…I just started your weekly painting videos & couldn’t be more excited to find you doing art journals; I have been doing art journaling for about 15-20 years; Best for me is a medium size spiral notebook of drawing paper [it really holds up well as you know];;;I don’t draw [can’t is a better word] so I collage using clip art, paint, pieces of paper [I’ve even used the pattern paper], rubber stamps, whatever works for me; I love texture & dimension in embellishments. My written journal entries are on the page across from the “art”; on the collaged page I also [literally always] put a quote. I am going to love watching these videos as I so love your taste & artistry & have several items of yours. Thanks for the fun of my first of your videos.

So glad to have you for the weekly fun. AND I’m excited to get more into art journaling. I love that you’ve been doing it so long! Inspired!
