I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last week, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me!

The sun came out today and we’re all grateful!

I went to see the Indigo Girls play with the Oregon Symphony last night with my long time friend (and jewelry artist) Lisa! People, it was one of those phenomenal experiences that just have you in complete awe at someone’s talent and how that talent has been of huge service to you. I grew up listening to them. Their lyrics, music poetry, harmonies, activism, and truth telling have informed my becoming, my values, my love of words, and sisterhood. It’s SUCH a privilege to witness someone being in the very center of their artistry, their passion, and how impactful it is to my own heart and life.

Always whispering in my ear, always hanging on me. Always challenging me to live life from my highest self. Because I know he’s watching. And I also know the most influence we can have as parents is to be the kind of adult we would want our kids to become.

My longtime friend @claronow posted this. I love it.
Throwback to my youth. I think I’m 4 here. My hair was blond like this until I was about 7 I think. I’m always curious if True’s blond will also turn or if it will stay blond like his papa. Hard to be believe this was 38 years ago!
Monday, March 20
Say hi to my mom! She’s helping to prep my original paintings for an original sale coming up!
Tuesday, March 21
The sun came out for a couple of hours and the entire neighborhood came out, including us, with our arms up and our feet skipping for joy. People, I know I keep going on and on about The Longest Winter Ever and I apologize. I do. But when there is nothing but cloudy skies and rain in the forecast (x several months), I will keep running outside, documenting it, and praying it stays around a bit longer and longer each day. The little things. They mean so much right now. Also, speaking of little things, True tackled me with snuggles and kisses during bedtime and said in a scary voice, “You will never escape my chamber of snuggles.” We’re on Harry Potter book #2 (Chamber of Secrets) and his references to Harry Potter (and Scooby Do) kill me.
