thank you

Dec 12, 2007 | Life in Progress

(recycled metal heart, made by heart maker extraordinaire, anthony hansen. this was our gift to ourselves this weekend at the show – we’ve long admired his work and it was a thrill to come home with this beauty.)

this heart is for you. thank you for all the recent etsy orders, and support, and kindness. my heart is full to the brim with gratitude. really, it is. thank you. i fall asleep each night in complete wonderment of this life. yes, there is overwhelm (you should see the state of our apt right now). yes, there are very long to-do lists (i’m not even sure where to start). yes, there is anxiety (have i mentioned my recent moments of chest pressure?). and yes, there is complication, messiness, mistakes, fear, and self doubt. but through it all, i am simply amazed. thank you…

xo

Sending much love,

I’ve been reading your blog and enjoying your art for a while. Today I finally purchased one of your prints for myself and I’m excited to think it will soon be on its way. I was inspired by your articles in Cloth Paper Scissors to create a mixed media painting that I will use on my Christmas cards this year. Thanks you!

I’m so pleased to see all you’ve accomplished. Believe it or not, you’ll get everything checked off your list. I hope you’ll breathe into that.

I love the heart – it’s very cool.
