I had the most fun talking with ama & karen tonite during our 3-way conversation. Remember those? They’re still so fun! Karen emailed this photo of us while we all chatted on the phone. That’s brian, kat, ama, and me in the front. And mike and karen in the back. This was taken my freshman year of college, so almost 13 years ago. We were all so cute and young and wide-eyed. And we still are. I am incredibly blessed to still have these friendships. Karen just recently moved to nyc and is living the nyc experience (i’m secretly jealous). Kat is a film maker in austin texas. Her film, Jumping Off Bridges, just premiered at SXSW to a sold out theatre. And sweet ama is in sunny St. Augustine, FL and is one of the most beautiful writers i’ve known. Such talent – all of them. Such wonderful, life-changing, solid friendships. Life is good.
