I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last week, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me!

We talk a lot with True about taking risks, growing his “courage muscles”, trusting the process. In some areas of his life he truly excels at it and in others he struggles. What I love about experiences like these where he GOES FOR IT (and loves it) is that it gives him (and us) experiences to draw from when we need the reminder that we can indeed so hard things. And in fact we must do hard things. ??❤️?? Go True go.

I’ve always dreamt of having a home nestled into a old neighborhood, with old trees, and a swing, and a porch for loungin, and a landscape of plants. Two years into living in this home and it still feels like slight miracle.

Weekend mornings. Slow. Sweet. Easy. These captures are soul care or me as I try and collect these moments and mornings into my heart for safe keeping.

My guy. My teacher. My inspiration. He was my date a few days ago at a dear friend’s wedding and my did he look dapper. Not long after this photo was taken he and his pal decided to get into the pool fully clothed.

Studio selfie. This week is a big week over here: filming, writing, making new art, getting ready for Unscripted, getting ready for the Brave Girls Symposium next week in Idaho, unpacking our new summer product releases. So much! Working hard to pace it all out. Love love LOVE laser focused weeks.
I’m home working in the front porch and look who decided to do my computer work for me. Lulu to the rescue.

Woke up today after a night of stressy dreams (do you guys have those?) after a couple of days of good ol fashion stress and growing courage (hard!). Today I’m wishing for ease and grace and beauty to fill the path. Xxo!
True left us all a love note by the front door. It says “I ❤️ you papa lulu mama ❤️ True” Discovering this was big for me as my heart swells daily. I am devouring my life lately and all the abundance of joy.
My children are grown up now so it is fun to see the pictures of True. They take me to a place in my mind, from the past that was so special- so many beginnings.
Take nothing for granted.
Kelly Rae…the fact you’re living in your dream home is more than a “slight” miracle; you took the right path in your life to achieve this dream but it was the Universe that guided your steps. I truly believe we end up right where the Universe wants us to be. At 70 I met and fell in love with a wonderful, courageous man; it was not what I sought at all at that age but by some wonderful miracle it happened…the Universe spoke and I couldn’t be happier.
LOVE this. Thanks so much Carolyn!
Such a lovely home and a gorgeous little boy as well as a crazy, adorable doggie. You must be so very proud!
