Welcome to the world, dear Vivi! You have a tribe of so many who already love you fiercely. And I knew the moment I met you that yours is a spirit of beauty, of quiet strength, of grace that will shift and move mountains. ps: I love that you’re a fellow Gemini. Love your name. Love how much your little brother already adores you. Love that you were born in my old home that we put so much love into! Love that you have so much hair! Love how you are already helping to usher in new beginning and old knowings all at once. Xxo.

True made me a drawing this morning. When I asked him to tell me about it he said it was “an alien love spreader” and then pointed to the alien on the bottom right. Said alien apparently shoots out love lasers in a complicated maze/roller coaster.
Today was my birthday. And it’s also summer solstice. And it’s also a full moon. I’m thinking that must mean something? Today seemed pretty ordinary, in all the best ways, and it was even complete with techie biz frustrations (not sure I’ll ever escape those, even on my bday). But I’m also trusting the universe and its sense of divine order and timing and even celebrating. All good. Currently enjoying this little nook of the backyard with a magazine my mama gave me, the sunshine, breeze, and my post massage relaxed body (thanks to a day at the spa gifted to me by john!). I feel so crazy filled up with my life, the people in it, and the multitude of blessings that come forth on the daily.

I’m currently in a big home nesting phase. After moving in and getting initially all unpacked a year or so ago, I had such burnout. It feels so good to be back in that place of being inspired to do little house projects here and there. My mom loaned me this vintage table cloth and I’m all over it and I’m currently working on making the backyard all magical for summer.

I’ve so been enjoying having the screen doors open, windows open, and the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the house lately. There really is an ease to summertime living. I’ve been staying up late (rare for me) just to enjoy the long days and moon watching. The best. Also, I don’t just want twinkle light in my backyard. I want them everywhere.
I had a HUGE giggle fit today with Nichole. Like the kind where you just cannot stop and you hope you don’t pee your pants and your abs hurt and you’re snorting and silent laughing all at once. Best part? It happened while recording a podcast so y’all get ready for it.

True and his Gigi. We are so lucky to live where we live.
PS: True found a heart. For you!

Thanks for finding the “tree heart” True! It is one of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen. 🙂
