Been loving my time in the tiny studio lately. Trying on new things. New colors. New series. Evolving. Here’s what’s been coming up for me on the canvas lately: Permission to evolve. Permission to honor what’s nourished me before, AND to allow some space for what wants to come forth. Taking my time to discover new shapes, new marks. Keeping the conversation OPEN with the canvas vs shrinking back to what is familiar/comfortable. Being brave.
The beauty about all of this work ON the canvas? It’s a mirror for all that I’m also trying to cultivate OFF the canvas – in my inner life, in my personal development, in my soul work, in my expansion as a human being.
We have so many portals in our lives in which to deepen and receive our highest guidance: partnership, parenting, creativity, and so much more.
Creativity and creative living has been a big one for me. Because when we Let Art Out, We Let Love In.
