centering

Jul 9, 2006 | Life in Progress

i am happy. i am refreshed. i am in the mountains. i am hiking. i am resting. i am reading The Last Amercian Man. i am window shopping. i am thinking. i am amazed by baby ian. i am spending time in a cafe called the Dripolator. i am finally here, with my best girlfriend since the 7th grade, connecting, talking about religion and theology and other big stuff. the mountains have reminded me of where i am going, and what centers me the most: nature.

Sending much love,

I feel the same way about nature ~ when nature is behaving, anyway. When it’s acting up (too hot, too windy, too rainy, etc.), I feel more centered inside where it’s safe. Glad you are so happy! 🙂

Good for you getting some grounded and centering time. And what better place to do that than with a best friend and nature. I was just doing catch-up on your blog and I love the shelf your hubby made and it also sounds very exciting about your new move. Good-luck! and I can’t wait to see pics of your decorating!
