I just want to explode with excitement for 2 big reasons:
1. today was my first day at the new job – medical social work at a big hospital here. i think it will be a good fit. and the best part? i don’t have to wear panty hose at this job. it seems the californians are a bit more relaxed. i can even wear open toed shoes. how exciting is that?
2. i sent in my artfest 2007 registration today. this event changed my life earlier this year and i will be there again next year. i can’t wait to do it all over again.

Hi Kelly…I discovered your blog right before you moved from Portland and have been meaning to leave a comment for what seems like forever now. Having a three year old leaves me with little time to leave comments on blogs…I just seem to read and run these days! LOL! I just sent in my Artfest registration yesterday…it will be my first year. I’ve wanted to go for years, but always talked myself out of it for one reason or another. Finally decided to push myself outside of my comfort zone and just go. I was supposed to be rooming with my dear friend Tracy Roos, but unfortunately she won’t be able to make it this year. — So what classes did ya choose? I’d love to hear!!!!
