“Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all.” emily dickinson (i’m sure i’ve posted that quote before – it’s a favorite of mine.)

for everyone in my life, friends i know, and friends i haven’t met yet who are on the road towards motherhood. this piece was specifically inspired by denise as she continues her very own touching journey.

Sending much love,

    Oh Kells,
I got so teary eyed when you first sent a picture of this to me via email. For so many reasons. I was so touched that you created such a lovely painting with thoughts of my journey to be pregnant. I was also moved that she resembles me. It gave me chills (the good kind) and gave me hope that this will be me soon.

You are an angel. An incredibly creative angel. Me and my future baby will rock together and stare up at this picture hanging on the nursery wall…with thoughts of darling you.

My husband Carsten also thanks you from the bottom of his heart.

Yummy warm fuzzy love to you,
    Denise (Boho)

Oh my, I so much that I could be with Denise when she sees this, however I’m apt to think that she has already! Truly, it’s one of the most beautiful and inspiring pieces of artwork that I’ve had the pleasuring of seeing.

You have a gorgeous place here, stunning really, and I can’t wait to come back!

This is a gorgeous piece! I love it!! I love her wings and the wonderful words on her belly. You have such a beautiful gift, Kelly.
I was showing some of your work on your etsy site to my fiancee and he thinks we need to buy one! I knew that already, but I love that her loves them too. So I’ll need to sit down and really look at them all so I can decide. This one is calling my name as we’ve been talking about starting to try and have babies ourselves. I’ll need to find out the exchange rate and how much it is to ship up here to Canada!
