big thanks to my man

Aug 2, 2009 | Life in Progress

i swear if it weren’t for my husband, i wouldn’t get out much. he takes me camping, to the ocean, to the wilderness, to soccer games, concerts, and on an on. we’re a good team. and today he took me (and a few others) out for my first paddle boarding adventure in the puget sound. it’s been so unusually hot here in the northwest (record breaking temps well over 100 degrees without AC – the pits) that it was nice to be out on the cold salty water. afterward, we all went out for drinks, tapas, and milkshakes. i am loving the summer here in seattle. yes i am.
new website update: PC/internet explorer users > you can now successfully place orders (sorry about that). also, shipping charges are a flat $5, not $8 (sorry about that, too). and all other glitches have been fixed (including formatting issues on this blog). thanks to everyone who pointed out the glitches and for helping me fix them, especially you, karen 🙂

also, please welcome our new sponsors. we’ve got:
1. the truly gorgeous work of hazelnut cottage – i am adoring all the sentiments and designs of her jewelry, especially this one.
2. golden flower studios, featuring the artwork of jeannine roberts royce. i love what she says in her bio – pretty special.
3. and finally, we’ve got tara bradford + alex de souza’s journey to jordan – a weeklong photo adventure in a fascinating part of our world. i can only imagine the fun, the scenery, the people – truly, a journey of a lifetime (i want to go!).
as always, please contact me if you are interested in becoming a sponsor…
more soon!

Sending much love,
