Illustration Friday – Simple

Feb 10, 2006 | Life in Progress

I made this last week and thought i’d submit it for this week’s topic. It’s an altered hardback book cover that i made into another little book/journal. The art idea/concept is simple and the techniques were also simple and hopefully geared towards somethings kids, ages 10-14, could duplicate. techniques used were painted tissue paper, painted masking tape, collage, photos, watercolor, old tin ceiling shaped into hearts, and wings make from a wire/tissue paper/glitter concoction. I had a great time making this…..

sorry for the repeat to my freinds/family who have already seen this in previous postings….xoxox

Sending much love,
