had the best day in the city yesterday with kelly and another new friend (!) shopping for a dress for the upcoming show. i found one, or really they found it. and i love it. i love girly shopping trips in the city with lots of breaks for food and chats. and i love chatting. i could chat it up for hours about life and all it’s offerings and confusion and wonderment. i really could.
i also love being around people who make me feel uplifted while not even trying to. i try to surround myself with good people, people who will celebrate my growth spurts with me, and likewise. people who get the idea that if one person finds joy, we all find joy. people who get the collectiveness of it all. that’s what it’s all about for me. i’ve had very good luck with finding these sorts of people the last week or so.
and i had a great conversation with this girl who i just love to pieces and have known forever it seems.
oh, and one of my new friends, Ann, sells these amazing shirts. seriously, how cool are these? i’m going to get the one that says “manifesting” because that’s what i’m doing. i’m manifesting.
