juno was lovely

Dec 28, 2007 | Life in Progress

yesterday, i wrote a list of all the movies john and i thought we’d like to see on our vacation. it’s a bit long as we have some catching up to do. we saw Juno today. oh man, it was so good. the soundtrack. the dialogue. the sentiment. i just loved the whole thing. i wish they made more movies like this one. tomorrow we’re seeing Steep with some friends – it’s a movie about backcountry snowboarding, something john is passionate about. i love watching snowboarding and surfing movies/videos. i just do.

we also did this today:
it’s been so wondrous to chat with one another and drive around to our favorite spots and just talk. and dream. and plan. and scheme. and relax. we have one of those old clawfoot tubs in our hotel room. there’s nothing like a deep soaker tub to give me the feeling of full-on indulgence. love it.

Sending much love,

If I were one of those kinds of people who likes to pop in unexpectedly on friends who are “honeymooning” in their favorite romantic city, I’d shoot on up this weekend and visit you! You are just SO close!! 🙂

I’m glad you are having a good time. I will have to check out Juno.
