every year on our drive to the coast, jen does her magic and writes out little hope notes that we spread all over the beach cabin for lovebomb. it’s become a tradition. some are funny, some are thoughtful, and they change every year. the rule is is that throughout our days together as a group we have to take the notes that speak to us the most. if we don’t think the note applies to us then it usually means that’s the exact message we need to hear. i love this idea.
this note on the fireplace made me stop and think about all the ways we each change each other’s lives, sometimes without ever knowing it. you never know when that story you tell, or that truth you share, or that memory you honor, or that leap of faith you take impacts those around you. in fact most of us will never know the impressions we leave on another’s life, the imprints we leave on another’s heart.
so this is for you….
you are changing people’s lives (including mine).
