“We do not remember days, we remember moments.” – Cesare Pavese

some moments i hope to remember from our day trip to seattle:

1. being in the car with the sun shining the entire way, windows down at times, bare feet up on the dashboard. what a treat.

2. both of us singing bob dylan’s ‘It Ain’t Me Babe” at the top of our lungs.

3. picking up john’s long awaited surfboard from the shop in seattle.

4. exploring the Market. i loved all the tulips, the art vendors, the fish men singing out loud as they tossed the fish around. i love that place.

5. the views. the sunshine. the people. the musicians. the artists. the picnics. the water. the hustle and bustle. i’m in love with people watching at places like this. i even discoverd another mixed media artist whose name is kelly rae!

7. getting into quite a discussion with john about some of our communication misunderstandings. and then coming to an understanding about our communication misunderstandings. it always feels great to reach a resolution! we’re talkers, which i love, love, love.

Sending much love,

Wonderful photo! They look like the huge gigantic ones at Laini’s mom’s that I wanted to sneak into the back of my car on Easter. I look forward to going up to Seattle this summer-maybe we’ll all go for the Fremont Fair? Thank you for sharing moments from your trip! I love that quote you began with. Its so true, isn’t it?
