I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last two weeks, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me! And you can click here to see all the Instagram updates right here on my blog!

Tuesday March 17

You are only confined by the walls you build yourself. I’ve been
thinking so much lately about all the ways we don’t allow ourselves to
simply take up more space. To speak and share our own wisdom. To ask for
what we need. To say no. To say yes! Because we don’t want to take up
too much space. To share our story. To set firm boundaries. To take our
time. To change our mind! Because we don’t want to take up too much
space. To lean and depend on people. To get angry. To be joyful. To
unleash the depths and rivers of who we are. Because we don’t want to
take up too much space. I am finding lately that these walls of
confinement want to come down. I want more space. I deserve more space.
And my spirit requires it if it’s gonna expand. And expansion is most
definitely the spiritual goal. Here’s to taking all the space we need.

Wednesday March 18

Spending the day today with Tiffany Kirchner photographing new products, my studio and more. Love her. Love my job.

Sneek peak of our new mini journals. Love these.

It’s been a super full couple of days. I’m currently taking a quick rest before heading out again. Life is good and full.

Thursday March 19

One our trees is in full bloom right now. Makes me so happy. I didn’t
realize how much joy I would get from watching the trees and landscaping
bloom at this new house as the months roll on. Love it.

Dear world, thank you for your smallest of moments that bring the greatest of beauty. Thank you for the stars, the light, and your soulful hearts that make living worth all the love you hold.

Totally love our new mailbox. I’ve been keeping an eye out for one as
our old one looked exactly like a feminine product trashcan that you
would find in a public bathroom stall (the worst!). This one came from @GrandinRoad and we adore the personality it adds to the porch. Who knew? Hoping it will manifest some good mail days. ps: our home is being painted next week! Bah bye cream. Hello blue/green!

Friday March 20

The new mailbox totally manifested an awesome mail day. Ha! Excited to dive into these beauties….

These two.
I continue to be so grateful that we are able to have John be a stay at
home papa. It suits our little family perfectly. They are quite a pair
these two. Both tender, athletic, creative, calm, loving, and musically
inclined. John has taught me so much about the value of play,
spontaneity, soulful living, and not sweating the small stuff. And I can
see how these core traits are becoming a part of True, too. As a mother
and partner, it’s so cool to watch the unfolding and just how much this
little boy admires, looks up to, and loves his papa.

Working on pulling this guest room together. This was my old office at
home. The green velvet couch turns into a bed! (From urban outfitters).
The desk is True’s and he’ll use this room as a craft room as well
(coffee table = project space). Loving how this is coming together. I
still have several finishing touches but it coming together!
Saturday March 21

I’ve been doing some serious nesting on the weekends, pulling together
the rooms that have been calling to me since we moved in. This is the
other side of the new guest room that has the green velvet couch. I
added more xo’s to the wall, more plants, a corner wall nook and I think
this room is *almost* done. I totally love the love wall. I’ve been
wanting to do this forever and I think it’s perfect for a guest room.

Sunday March 22

Another weekend home nesting project! This nook at the top of our stairs
has been vacant since we moved in a year ago. It has a lovely built-in
bench but we never use it. I’ve been planning on removing the built-in
bench and replacing it with a huge hutch, but haven’t been able to find a
good large hutch this last year. But then yesterday my mom and older
sister were over and they put this little area together using stuff we
already had. The result? LOVE! It’s like a DIY linen closet that holds
our favorite textiles and quilts. I cannot tell you guys the joy I’m
getting out of pulling the last of our home spaces together! Next up:
our large hallway upstairs and our family Spirit room that we will use
for quiet time, contemplation, meditation, yoga, and reading.

Closer look. Sort of love the whimsy of the cabinet and floor lamp on top of the bench.

I am so delighted by how often this is happening.

Monday March 23

Hello Monday. On the list today: quick spontaneous trip to CA, family
fun with my boys, a most certain trip to a pool, a skatepark, and
anything else they want to do. I’m all theirs and they’re all mine for a
couple of days.

PDX Airport carpet!

She took flight into a life filled with peace, grace, joy, and light.
This is a newish piece for me and also my wish for all of us, wherever
we may be. There is always room for expansion, for light, and for wings.
Always, wings.

Tuesday March 24

Love. Found. Seen. Discovered.

Gorgeous, relaxing day here in CA with my little family. With every single beat, I am grateful.
Wednesday March 25
Nurture Your Heart wings available from the online retailer Garden Gallery here!

Just got this gorgeous photo of our new metal wings. Love these! I have
many new products to share with you guys. Stay tuned. In the meantime, a
full day here in CA is waiting! Xxo emoji by @tiffanykirchner

Gorgeous here. A really sweet family adventure.

I’m a HUGE fan of pink cotton candy. Anyone else?

Thursday March 26

My college dorm. 1993. Barely 18 yrs old, huge glasses, and dyed
dark hair. Had an odd obsession with The Little Mermaid, Winnie,
sunflowers, and matching curtains with bedspreads. These were the days.
Loved every second.

Eeeek! Arrived home to the house painters getting started. The bottom
cream color is the old color. The blue is the new body color (Benjamin
moore Azores) and the tippy tip top is a green (hard to tell in this
sunny photo) called Urban Nature, also by benji moore. So far, I’m
loving the decision we made to have two coordinating colors for the main
body. You can’t see it in this photo but the main trim is a
white/creamy color with the window inset colors being a rich, dark brown.

Friday March 27

Working on a little something that I’m so excited to announce soon. Also, it’s good to be home ;).

Excited to dive back into work after a little time off. I missed this space! emoji by @tiffanykirchner

That’s it for this week! Check back here next week for another update, or join us over on Instagram for daily photos and thoughts!
